In my pursuit to create a new piece everyday, I’ve gotten a little sloppy with any sort of story telling I may have been going for. However, I am trying to find time to just create something.

In the last twenty four hours, I have decided to take a small break from focusing on line work in my illustrations. Carefully choosing the right line weight and stroke can be mentally exhausting. These are the two pieces I’ve worked on in the past day.
Both illustrations were created in a drawing app for iPad, using a watercolor technique. Also, both are expected to be available as high quality 8×10 archival prints in the shop by the end of next week.
Days of drawing with pen and paper are over for me. I have become completely enamored with “finger painting” on my Android phone. This week that completely changed with my brand spankin’ new iPad. Here are a few things I’ve been doing.
Experimenting with new iPad apps such as Paper by 53.
I also had a few commissioned projects I worked on.
Complete logo package for a local metal band, Composing the Apocalypse. Based on a preexisting logo design, new images are ready for web graphics, stickers, tshirts and other printer merchandise.
